Your Gift Supported Over 37,000 Lives

CRMC Tower C Turned Green for Injury Prevention Awareness

Community supporters believed in our vision of expanding Chandler Regional Medical Center well over a decade ago. The expansion included a new Level 1 Trauma Center to bring needed critical care close to home. Some people were skeptical and others jumped right in and donated to the cause. Now, Chandler Regional is one of the busiest, if not the busiest, Trauma Center in the entire state.

Because we are certified by the American Academy of Surgeons, we are required to have a trauma registry. This registry shows that from the Spring of 2014 through the Spring of 2024, we saw 37,000+ patients from a trauma injury. It's really a staggering number. Each one of these is a special family member, such as Kevin Daniels, whose life was saved by the excellent Trauma team, and supporting emergency and critical care teams at Chandler Regional.

We cannot thank you enough for your support of this vision. We are now happy to report that we have received the Surgical Quality Partner Diamond Level from the American College of Surgeons. Even more important, we are a member of the ATS Trauma Survivors Network providing post-trauma support to patients and continuing their healing journey.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the new building, the Level 1 Trauma Center, and our outreach programs. We can never thank you enough.

Gratitude Days Established by the Care Coaches
Community Partners Give Thanks at Quarterly Gratitude Days

A team of dedicated CARE Coaches makes sure patients throughout Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers have an excellent experience. They take it a step further and come together to ensure their co-workers feel the love during quarterly Gratitude Days.

Community partners and companies kindly provide donations that are handed out by the CARE Coaches to employees to thank them for all of their hard work. In May, during Hospital Week, we partnered with over a dozen organizations to make sure love was sprinkled throughout the hospitals.

The next event will take place in the hospitals around World Gratitude Day in September.

Family at Family Remembrance Run
Compassion for Families at 2024 Family Remembrance Run

The 2024 Family Remembrance Run, co-presented by Lilac Ob-Gyn and New Horizons for Women's Care, was a heartfelt gathering at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, AZ, where over 750 people united to honor the cherished memories of babies gone too soon.

Generosity propelled us to a record-breaking accomplishment - together, we raised over $64,000 for the Bowen's Buddies Endowment Fund for Infant Bereavement. These funds are pivotal to the Heaven's Hummingbirds mission, ensuring that we can continue to serve, comfort and guide families through the most vulnerable of losses. Your contribution is the beacon that lights their path toward healing.

Guardian Angel Program Honors Heroes like Elaine

We recently witnessed an extraordinary act of courage and dedication at Chandler Regional Medical Center. Elaine, a member on our medical team, rose to an incredibly challenging occasion. When a patient presented with critical symptoms, Elaine's swift and decisive action were nothing short of heroic. Her calm demeanor, clear communication and confidence ensured the patient received the urgent care needed and, over the course of three days, made a full recovery in the ICU. Elaine's compassion and integrity not only saved a life, but also provided comfort and reassurance to a worried family during their most vulnerable moments.

Moved by Elaine's commitment, the patient's family honored her as a Guardian Angel with a heartfelt donation. During the recognition ceremony, the family shared, "You made a difference for my husband and our entire family! Thank you for your compassion and integrity."

Generous support from the Guardian Angel Program sponsor, the Husband and Wife Law Team, allows for these special celebrations to take place, where a caregiver is honored by hearing the patient's gratitude and they receive recognition and praise in front of their peers.
