Jennifer Butson (Fundraising & PR): I have never been shy to talk about my son, Bowen, and this openness carved the path for this project.  In a previous life, I was trained as an RN, but am currently an entrepreneur and owner of Ananda Salon and Skin Center in Chandler.  I also have 3 daughters here on earth that I am raising with my husband of 11 years, Brian.  This is a passion project for me and I believe that God has placed me here in this place and time to do this important work. Other than being one of the founders of the support group, Heaven’s Hummingbirds, I have also been a key fundraiser to the “Maternal Child Health Bereavement Programs,” raising over $10,000 last year.

Lori Remley, RNC (Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator, Maternal Child Health, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center) - Family Support & Hospital Partnerships/Education: I am originally from Washington State, but in 1994 my husband and I moved to Arizona where I went to Mesa Community College for my nursing degree while raising two boys.  I have been a nurse since 1998 and have been in the labor and delivery department since 2000.  In 2012 the Lord placed me in the position at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center as the perinatal bereavement coordinator. I am a connector and look to God for guidance.  My heart is to help these parents in any way I can.

Vicki VandenHeuvel, BSN,  RNC (MNN, Perinatal Bereavement Support, Maternal Child Health, Chandler Regional Medical Center) - Family Support & Hospital Partnerships/Education: As the coordinator of the Perinatal Bereavement program at Chandler Regional Medical Center since 2002, I am honored to serve our Lord through caring for these broken families in the hospital setting and in that first year following perinatal loss is an honor.  Each little life is sacred and to be able to give time, love…caring for families and embracing them as they heal is a privilege. I received my BSN in Nursing in 1980 from Marian College and became a Certified Bereavement Coordinator through RTS Bereavement Services in 2000. I have also attended Facilitator Training through Hospice of the Valley, New Song in 2017.

Georgi Feidler (Operations & Partnerships) - In the last 15 years in Leadership, People Operations and Talent Management, nothing has been more rewarding to me than inspiring those around me to passionately engage in their work to create big and meaningful impact in the world. God has called me to this ministry.  My role and purpose is to the light the path to help others find their way ...and God has called me to bring light in this dark place. I will help drive the initiative operationally in partnership with each team member ensuring we meet objectives, timelines and goals.  I will also help support partnerships and the volunteer and training program for parents.

Anica Martinez (Support Group Facilitator & Parent Education) - I am a mom of two beautiful amazing babies. My son (my rainbow) is about to turn 3. My daughter joined Jesus in Nov. 2013 as she was born still. I work full time as a sustainability and business development manager for industrial recycling. I am passionate about supporting families as they venture through their grief journey as well empowering women to believe in themselves and to be confident in their beauty and strength.  I trained and became a Grief Support Group facilitator through New Song, Hospice of the Valley in 2017 and have been co-facilitating our group since.

Caitlin Gonzales (Support Group Facilitator & Parent Education) - I am a proud Arizona native! I began a career as a Training and Implementation Specialist after graduating from ASU in 2006 with a degree in Psychology. Everything changed for my husband Paul and I when our first son was born still in 2011.  I focused my life back to service and supporting families who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss. I have attended trainings and continuing education classes on grief, traumatic death, women’s issues, and bereavement. I trained and became a Grief Support Group facilitator through New Song, Hospice of the Valley in 2017 and have been co-facilitating our group since. My heart and soul belong to the bereaved and their children, and serving them in any way I can.
