Mardi Gras was the inspiration for the Foundation’s event of the year. Dancing with Dignity was held November 2 at the Chandler Center for the Arts. Over 700 guests, some in costume, were treated to an evening of food and music reminiscent of iconic New Orleans at this masquerade style gala.
The highlight of the evening was the dance show where teams of volunteers and their professional dance teachers teamed up for a competition rivaling the well-known television dance show. In the 5 years since it's creation, donations from the event have funded support for people who have survived stroke, brain tumors, cancer, the loss of a loved one .. and more.
