Gifts in Honor

Giving a gift in honor of a friend, loved one or community member is a touching way to pay tribute to the humankindness they have put into your life while contributing to Dignity Health’s life-saving work.

A donation or an in-kind gift can be made to honor a special event such as a birthday or an anniversary, or simply as a way to let someone know you have them in your thoughts. If desired, the Foundation can establish a page on our website to celebrate a birthday or anniversary from which visitors can make donations while learning more about the special occasion.

A hand-written acknowledgment card will be sent to the honored individual without mentioning the amount of the gift, as long as we are provided with their contract information. 

How to Express your Gratitude and Donate

Please donate online  (using the tribute and comments section) or make checks payable to Dignity Health Foundation East Valley, note on your check the name of the person you are honoring, and mail to:

Random drawing will be conducted June 12th in Arizona following all laws of the State of Arizona and IRS regulations (must be 18 or older to win) and the Arizona-based winner will be  notified via e-mail and phone to arrange for digital vacation transfer with the owner. Rules and Regulations can be found here.

Important notes for Tax and IRS Rules: 

Winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize. No cash prizes offered. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
