Series #2 - Strategies to Improve Cardiovascular Care (three-part series)
Despite advances in medication and implementation of procedures that are minimally invasive, cardiovascular disease remains the number one threat to society. This series will adopt an evidence based, guideline driven update on the critical domains of interventional cardiology. Topics and information with practical application will span from heart valve disease to complex coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease. It will provide guidance for primary care physicians on best practice in capturing patients and diagnosing these conditions early to provide exceptional care. The series will focus on the use of telemedicine as a way to provide seamless care and expand the specialized services we provide at Dignity Health.
