Gila River Indian Community Healing Garden

The Gila River Indian Community Healing Garden is part of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. This garden is a place where patients and their loved ones—along with staff and friends of the hospital—are invited and encouraged to find solace, serenity, and reprieve. The garden is the result of a friendship between Mercy Gilbert and the Gila River Indian Community—two entities with a shared philosophy of surrounding patients, families, and our neighbors with an atmosphere of healing for the body, mind, and spirit.

The Gila River Indian Community Healing Garden is a ceremonial healing area that is intertwined with pathways, fountains and artwork, the garden represents life at every stage. Through the use of water, sunlight, and natural foliage, the garden provides a place of peace and contemplation. It is a place to pause, reflect, and heal.
