Bio - Catrina Ulery, MSW, CFRE

Philanthropy Manager

Catrina is a dedicated non-profit veteran with more than a dozen years of professional experience. She leads with heartfelt community stewardship in all of her volunteer and professional endeavors. 

Catrina joined the Dignity Health Foundation East Valley team in 2014 after working in community outreach and volunteer management in human service nonprofits. She is an engaging leader within the Foundation overseeing and supporting a wide range of activities using strong project management skills. Those activities include: the strategic development of the annual giving program, creation of donor stewardship and recognition, engaging volunteers and employees in philanthropy, leading signature fundraising and third-party events, managing peer to peer fundraising, and building key donor relationships and groups. Her expertise includes using fundraising tools such as DREAM, Thankview, web platforms and podium text systems to reach, remind, solicit and thank key audiences. She was also instrumental in building a unique, interactive donor engagement center.

An Arizona native and proud Sun Devil, Catrina earned both her degrees from Arizona State University - a Master’s in Social Work and Bachelor’s in Sociology and Business - also serving on the young professionals board at ASU. She is the past President of the Chandler Rotary club and a current member.

Passionate about community, Catrina’s service has included Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, AZCEND, New Pathways for Youth, Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, Chandler Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program, and the City of Chandler’s Housing and Human Services Commission. She lives and serves in the East Valley of the Phoenix-area with her husband, Tyler, their toddler Annabelle, and dog, Daisy.
