Lisa Ceballos Bio

Philanthropy Specialist

Lisa Ceballos is a seasoned marketing and relationship professional with more than 25 years of experience, including a decade of experience as an educator with students of all ages. Her career began with a focus on sales and marketing. However, her passion for community service evolved her professional work into corporate and nonprofit
philanthropy. This passion also led her to join the Dignity Health Foundation team in 2022, after most recently launching and leading both employee volunteer and corporate giving programs with a large international business based in Gilbert, Arizona.

As a Philanthropy Specialist, Lisa's responsibilities are varied and include: ongoing development of the grateful patient program, strategic grant writing, launching the Dignity Health East Valley Women’s Health Council, pipeline work, and leading signature fundraising events including securing sponsorships.

Lisa is enjoying the change to health care as she loves learning and meeting new people. She particularly enjoys learning about language and culture which makes her an outstanding relationship builder.  In addition to being fluent in Spanish, Lisa spent time studying Portuguese and Russian. She studied abroad in Mexico, Spain, Honduras, Czech Republic, Germany and Russia during high school, and her time at Simpson College where she earned her Bachelor’s in International Management and Spanish.
Truly a life-long learner, she continued her studies with a Master’s in Education from Arizona State University.  All of these experiences led her to continually serve our community and to host and supervise high school exchange students from all over the world.

Passionate about Jesus, Lisa’s service has also included Habitat for Humanity, UNICEF, Chandler Jaycees, Live Love, House of Refuge, SERV International, and Civil Air Patrol; along with a board position with the Arizona Beagle Rescue, and an Auxiliary board position with Feeding Matters. She lives and serves in the East Valley of the Phoenix-area with her husband, Juan Manuel, her two boys, Javier and Sidney, her mother-in-law, Celina, and their rescue dog, Ali.
