The Impact of the 21st annual George Rozsa Golf Classic presented by Sante
Over $200,000 was raised in support of Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers' pursuit to become world-class teaching hospitals. As families, professionals and older adults are drawn to the East Valley, our community continues to grow at unprecedented rates and our hospitals are rising to meet the need. We are excited to welcome the first class of residents to our hospital this summer.
Our inaugural residency class will offer three clinical programs: family medicine, general surgery, and internal medicine – with two more to follow the very next year. This will elevate our hospitals to serve teaching sites and will amplify the impact our ministry is able to make on our community’s health, while also offering a place for community health providers to turn to recruit the next generation of respected, compassionate providers.
Through the generous support of our sponsors along with many volunteers, over the years this tournament has raised over $2.5 million to support the greatest needs of our non-profit medical centers. George Rozsa had a vision in 2002 when the tournament first began and the impact continues today!
