A dedicated physician, wife, mother and triathlete, we are proud to name Dr. Mia Van Eken as this year’s Physician Champion. Dr. Van Eken is the owner and practicing physician with East Valley Women for Women. She has served as a Foundation volunteer board member for almost a decade, with the past two years in a leadership role as board secretary. Dr. Van Eken is also the former Director of Maternal Child Health at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

Dr. Van Eken was the first official physician champion of our Grateful Patient and Family Program.
