Lin Sue Cooney

You might recognize Lin Sue Cooney from her 31 years as a newscaster on 12News. Now, instead of delivering the latest headlines, Lin Sue serves as Director of Community Engagement for one of the largest not-for-profit hospices in the country. Lin Sue oversees marketing, fund development, volunteers and creative services for Hospice of the Valley; but perhaps her most favorite activity is teaming up with her very spoiled therapy poodle Max to bring cheer to patients and their families. As if that were not enough, Lin Sue is also married to a wonderful man and is the mother of four amazing children. We are so grateful for Lin Sue’s commitment to host the Foundation’s most celebrated event of the year. 

 

Debi Florence

Debi is the founder and CEO of Deravia & Company, a small business consulting firm. Debi grew up and attended college in Texas, where she also earned her CPA designation. Debi began her career at State Farm Insurance where she spent 11 years and most recently, has held critical positions in the event industry. Debi and her husband, Steve have two amazing children- Olivia and Erich. In 2016, Debi was faced with her own mortality after suffering a brain aneurysm.  This brush with death has reaffirmed Debi’s desire to share all that she has- whether it be her business acumen or expressions of humankindness to those around her.
