Receiving the Board Member of the Year award for the second time is Jack Martin, who is not only our Board Chair, but also our Co-Chair for the Dignity Rising Campaign Planning Committee and Co-Chair for the Dignity Rising Corporate Giving Committee. Jack has set a tone of accountability with our staff and officers for Board meeting attendance, event participation and project organization.

Jack’s unsurpassed leadership has far exceeded our expectations in all these roles. We are privileged to have him lead our Foundation and honored to name him the 2018 Board Member of the Year.

Random drawing will be conducted June 12th in Arizona following all laws of the State of Arizona and IRS regulations (must be 18 or older to win) and the Arizona-based winner will be  notified via e-mail and phone to arrange for digital vacation transfer with the owner. Winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize. No cash prizes offered. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
