Empowering Nurses. Advancing Care. Transforming Lives.
The Altman Nursing Education and Support Program at Dignity Health East Valley
Every day, our nurses bring compassion, skill, and strength to the bedside — guiding patients and families through life’s most critical moments. The Altman Nursing Education and Support Program invests in these caregivers, ensuring they have the advanced training, leadership skills, and wellness resources needed to provide exceptional care for our East Valley communities.
About the Program
The Altman Nursing Education and Support Program provides nurses across Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, and Arizona General Hospital – Mesa with opportunities to grow, thrive, and lead.
Your support helps us:
- Fund advanced clinical certifications in areas such as ICU, NICU, Emergency, Oncology, Stroke, and more
- Provide workshops, conferences, and specialized enhanced education opportunities
- Strengthen leadership development and mentorship for nurse preceptors and unit leads
- Support wellness and resilience programs that prevent burnout and build thriving teams
Your Impact
When you give to the Altman Nursing Education and Support Program, you’re doing more than supporting education — you’re empowering nurses.
Your gift to the Altman Nursing Education and Support Program is an investment in nurses — those who care, comfort, and heal. Together, we can continue building a community where every nurse feels valued, supported, and equipped to deliver exceptional care.
A Special Opportunity: Double Your Impact!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the John Altman Charitable Foundation, we have a unique opportunity to maximize every donation. The Altman Foundation has provided a $25,000 matching gift to kickstart this program. This means that donations will be matched, effectively doubling the impact!
Your investment won't just support nurses; it will ignite a movement to honor, empower, and invest in the nurses who make healing possible every day. This challenge match will inspire patients, physicians, staff, and community partners to stand proudly behind our nursing teams, ensuring vital resources are available for years to come.
