This year’s It’s in the Bag Soiree delivered its most memorable afternoon yet, drawing more than 200 guests to Dillard’s Chandler Fashion Center for a celebration of style, community, and support for our OB/GYN Residency Program.
The crowd favorite was the debut of our Dignity Health runway models, including President Dr. Mario Garner, Residency Program Director Dr. Erum Azhar, and Mercy Gilbert CNO David Smeed, who brought energy and personality to the fashion show and kept guests packed shoulder-to-shoulder around the stage.
Guests also enjoyed an expanded lineup of prizes, including men’s accessories, popular designer handbags, and a new fragrance pull curated and orchestrated by the Women’s Health Council. Board member and grateful patient Shelby Arians also shared a heartfelt story that connected guests even more deeply to our mission.
Proceeds from the event will fund point-of-care ultrasound equipment that will enhance hands-on training for our OB/GYN residents.
