Community Donors Share Love of Health Care Heroes 2021
With generous support from the community, the Dignity Health Foundation East Valley provided a grant to the Nursing Leaders at Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers to fund many of the celebration week activities such as popcorn rounding, mixed soda drinks, and dessert trucks from Joyful Delights Ice Cream and Yeti Co Italian Ice.
Additionally, many donors in the community provided drawing items such as gift cards, gift baskets and Theraguns to be distributed through a random drawing. These were generously provided by many individual donors and companies such as Rayhons Financial, Avana Chandler and Mary Kay.
Thanks Dignity Health Medical Staff for purchasing Nurses Week gifts for all nurses. Included with the gifts are donations from: Isagenix, Papa John's, and Culver's.
Thank you to McCarthy Building Companies and Breyer Law for providing coffee and food trucks at our hospitals. Thank you to Eliana and Rita's Burritos for organizing a Burritos for Heroes campaign to provide a meal to all health care workers. A special thank you to the Dignity Health Athletic Trainers and Human Resources Teams for visiting nursing stations throughout the hospital, rounding with treats and providing "pop up" resiliency stations such as massages.
