Give from Your IRA Account
If you are 70½ years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to support Dignity Health programs and receive tax benefits in return. You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as Dignity Health Foundation - East Valley without having to pay income taxes on the money.
Why Consider This Gift?
Your gift will be put to use today, allowing you to see the difference your donation is making.
You pay no income taxes on the gift. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions.
If you have not yet taken your required minimum distribution for the year, your IRA charitable rollover gift can satisfy all or part of that requirement.
It is wise to consult with your tax professional if you are contemplating making a charitable rollover gift from your IRA account.
Please feel free to contact the foundation with any questions: 480.728.3931.

Random drawing will be conducted June 12th in Arizona following all laws of the State of Arizona and IRS regulations (must be 18 or older to win) and the Arizona-based winner will be notified via e-mail and phone to arrange for digital vacation transfer with the owner. Rules and Regulations can be found here.
Important notes for Tax and IRS Rules:
Winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize. No cash prizes offered. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
