
Coach Dar's Story
Get to know the host of the Dancing for Stroke event!
Darlene Santore "Coach Dar" is a stroke survivor and occupational therapist who works with survivors and those battling disease to regain strength, confidence and a renewed vibrancy of life. She believes in comebacks for those seeking a greater, more fulfilling life. She first joined the Dignity Health Foundation team as a volunteer to help support and promote stroke survivors in their fundraising efforts. She will continue as a volunteer dancer this year fundraising and spreading awareness about the causes and symptoms of stroke in the ever-popular Dancing for Stroke gala event.
